Funds are allocated toward the horse purchase or claim and a reserve for training, veterinary, and routine expenses, allowing partners to enjoy the experience without worrying about unexpected invoices.

Every horse we acquire is carefully evaluated by our team, considering racing history, form, conformation, pedigree, and overall potential. We take pride in making informed decisions that fit our goals and give each horse the best opportunity to succeed.

With a wide range of racing opportunities throughout the Mid-Atlantic, we strategically place each horse in races that fit their ability, condition, and development. Our goal is to maximize competitiveness while creating the best experience possible for our partners.

Financial Overview

Each Bush Racing Stable partnership is divided into 100 ownership shares, allowing partners to purchase the percentage that best fits their interest. The cost per share is based on the horse’s purchase or claim price, plus a reserve for prepaid training and operating expenses.

Example – $15,000 Claiming Horse at Penn National

  • Total Partnership Capitalization: $25,000
  • Ownership Structure: 100 Shares Available
  • Cost Per Share: $250
  • Minimum Ownership: 10 Shares (10% Ownership)
  • Total Cost for 10% Ownership: $2,500

Your one-time ownership payment includes your share of the horse purchase/claim and prepaid expenses. Bush Racing Stable handles all day-to-day management, with no monthly bills to partners. A $200 monthly management fee per horse or 10% of gross purse earnings (whichever is greater) is applied at the partnership level.
